How DinkedIn works
Getting started
Browsing courts is open to everyone. Groups, games, scores and your booking log need a free account.
- Tap Sign in anywhere and type your email, then Send code.
- Enter the 6-digit code from the email and tap Sign in. No password.
- First time only: tell us what your group should call you, switch on I’m 18 or older if you are, then Continue.
- Then pick your player. New accounts see a short tour of courts, games, scores, your locker and Courtside, ending with how to add DinkedIn to your home screen.
- A code lasts 10 minutes. You can ask for a new one every 60 seconds with Resend code.
- You stay signed in for 30 days on that device.
- Lost a phone? Tap Sign out and tick Also sign out my other devices.
Welcome tour
New here, or want a refresher? Replay the short tour of courts, games, scores, your locker, Courtside and adding DinkedIn to your home screen.
Find your way around
- Home: your groups, live games and the feed.
- Courts: every court in Metro Cebu.
- Courtside: six small crew games for a break.
- Sidequests: side goals off the court that earn locker stickers.
- Me: your character, gear and locker, your groups, your booking log and your settings.
- The round buttons beside the tabs: How it works (this page), the light/dark switch, and Sign out.
- On a phone the four tabs float at the bottom; drag along them to slide between tabs, and they fold into one button as you scroll down. Your picture top right opens Me, Insights, Appearance, How it works and Sign out. On a computer they all live in the left sidebar.
- Admins also see Admin, for court suggestions and site tools: a tab on a computer, and in the sheet under your picture on a phone. Players don't need it.
- Signing out asks first. Your groups and bookings stay saved.
Your profile
Me › You is your stage: your character, gear, locker and trophies. Me › Settings holds your name, photo, player and profile. Me › Groups lists every group you're in.
Change your name, photo or player
- Go to Me › Settings.
- Edit your name and tap Save name, or tap Change photo (it's cropped to a square).
- To switch character, pick one under Your player and tap Save player.
- Your photo shows to people in your groups, on boards and leaderboards.
- Me › You and your profile always show your full dressed character. Dress it on Me › You.
- Your stats on Me › You come from your first group. Your DinkedIn profile at the top of Me shows every group at once, with your DinkedIn level. Open someone's name in a group to see their profile on the same stage.
- Show the crew is the switch under The crew on Me › Settings. Turn it off to hide the crew on Home and in your groups.
- Under Account, How it works opens this page and Sign out signs you out.
Fill in your profile
- Go to Me › Settings. The Profile card is under Your player.
- Add your Home area (a barangay or city), your Level (2.5 to 5.0), Formats (Doubles, Singles) and Usual times (weekday or weekend mornings, afternoons, evenings).
- Under Who can see it, pick Group members or Any signed-in player.
- Switch on I’m 18 or older if you are, then tap Save profile.
- Every field is optional. It helps groups and players find a game with you.
- It shows at the top of your DinkedIn profile, like "Plays around Mandaue · Says 3.5 · Doubles".
- Who can see it also decides who can open your DinkedIn profile. Your 18+ answer is only ever shown to you.
Crew AI: ask the crew
- Tap the crew orb in the middle of the tab bar and ask anything. On a tablet or computer, type in the Ask the crew anything… bar at the foot of the page: the chat opens beside the page when you send.
- Your question goes to whoever knows it best: the orb turns into their face while they work, and their name sits on the answer. Start with a name to ask one directly: "Smash, who is my rival?"
- Volley: courts. Where and when to play, prices, covered or indoor, booking online. He sets the Courts filters, so the map and list are the answer. Without an account he answers 5 questions a day.
- Dink: your groups. The next game day, who is going, the last night you played, and where you stand on each leaderboard.
- Smash: your game. Your record, win rate, streaks, form, DinkedIn level, and the partners and rivals you play most.
- Erne: the rules of pickleball. Serves, the kitchen, the two-bounce rule, line calls and scoring, from the USA Pickleball rulebook.
- Lob: Sidequests. What each one asks for, what is waiting for review, and your next sticker.
- Pop: how the app works, from these Help pages.
- Behind them is one AI that knows your groups, record, quests and favourites, reads the whole chat, and can search the web (it links its sources). It picks who answers; anything general goes to Dink.
- Everyone but Volley answers signed-in members.
See what each crew member does for you
- Go to Me › Settings and look under Your player.
- A bolt next to a name means that crew member has a power. The line under them says what it is and where it shows up.
- Dink, Your week: a one-line recap of your week and your nearest sticker, on the Clubhouse. He knows your games and wins this week, your streak, your season so far, whether you played outside your usual times, and any court you played for the first time.
- Smash, Match report: a few lines on a finished Open Play, on its results. For you he also spots a first win over someone who always beat you, a new best (wins in a night, wins in a row) and a climb up the group's board.
- Erne, Scout eye: checks your Court Scout photos and fixes before an admin reviews them. On a game you're going to, he whispers who has your number, who you win with, and how often you've played that court.
- Volley, Court chat: ask Crew AI for courts in your own words, and follow up. He knows your favourites, home area and usual times, and which of your courts are popular with DinkedIn players and what players paid there. He never says a court is available: DinkedIn can't see bookings.
- Lob keeps the crew quiet: no tips or nudges during your quiet hours, or when the crew is off.
- Other players are never named to the AI: the crew sees them as P1, P2, and the name is only added back on your screen.
- Pop, Ask Pop: ask Crew AI "how do I…", or tap Can’t find it? Ask Pop on this page.
- Dink, Smash, Erne and Lob answer in Crew AI too: your groups, your game, the rules and Sidequests.
- Powers are for signed-in members. You get all of them, whichever player you pick.
- A bolt on a crew line anywhere in the app means the crew member wrote it with AI.
What the crew remembers
- When you chat with the crew, it keeps your own questions for 2 days. Once a night it turns them into up to 10 short notes, like "working on my backhand" or "tournament Sat 25 Oct".
- Want it kept now? Start with "remember that": "Remember that my tournament is Saturday." The crew keeps it straight away.
- To see them, go to Me › Settings › What the crew knows. Tap the ✕ next to a note to delete it, or Clear all.
- To stop it, switch off Let the crew remember what I tell it in the same list. Nothing new is kept and the notes are cleared.
- The crew uses a note only when it helps with your question. It never reads them back to you as a list.
- A day after a dated note, like a tournament, Dink may ask how it went on Home (Smash asks about a game). Tap the line to answer in the chat. Each note is asked about once, never in your quiet hours.
- Notes keep your play, goals, gear, plans and how you said your body feels. They never keep other people's names (they become "a partner"), contact details or money beyond court prices.
- Only you and the crew see them. They're in Export my data, and deleting your account removes them.
- Turning the crew off in Me › Settings also stops it remembering.
Pick your crew
- The welcome tour starts with three quick questions: why you play, how long you have played and what you want from the app. One tap each.
- They pick your crew member: they greet you on Home and in the chat, and the crew orb takes their colour. Change it any time in Me › Settings › Your crew, or replay the tour from this page.
- To win: Smash. To hang out: Dink. To get fit: Volley. To learn: Erne. You can switch to anyone, Pop and Lob too, in Me › Settings › Your crew.
- It only changes who says hi. Every question still goes to whoever knows it best.
Courts
Find a court, see what it costs at the time you want to play, and book it in one tap.
Search and filter
- Type a name, barangay or street in the search box.
- Or tap the crew orb and ask the way you’d text a friend: “covered in Mandaue at 7pm”, “cheap tonight”, “indoor near me”. Volley answers: he sets the filters and tells you what it found, cheapest first when you ask about price or a time. Without an account Volley answers 5 questions a day.
- Use the filter pills under the search box for city, court type (Indoor, Outdoor, Covered) and booking. On a phone they sit in Filters, with Online booking only and Favourites only.
- Tap Any time and pick an hour to see each court's rate at that time. Any time inside it clears it.
- Tap Near me to sort by distance. On the map it zooms to where you are. Your location never leaves the phone.
- Switch between Card, List and Map view at the top right of the toolbar. Map view fills the screen with the filters on top. Filters apply to all three.
- Tap a court's name for everything else: every rate, other ways to contact it, the address and directions.
- Court missing? Tap Add it under the results. It checks the court isn't listed already, then it goes on the list once the admin approves it.
- With an hour picked, courts confirmed open come first. Courts that don't list their hours follow under their own heading.
- Tap the heart to save a favourite. Signed in, your favourites follow your account to every device; signed out, they stay on this one.
- The share button copies a link to exactly what you are looking at, filters included.
What DinkedIn players know
- Tap a court's name. Under its rates and booking buttons, "From DinkedIn players" shows what our own players add.
- Popular with DinkedIn players: the day and time when DinkedIn groups play there most, weekday or weekend, morning, afternoon or evening.
- Paid by DinkedIn players: the middle price per court-hour from players' own booking logs, for the latest month with enough bookings.
- Court facts: surface, lights, rental paddles and balls, ramp or steps, parking, restrooms and shade.
- Under them, "Updated" gives the day players last checked a fact. Tap About this info to see which facts were checked on which day, and where the popular times and price come from.
- These are counts from DinkedIn games and booking logs. They don't say whether a court is free: we can't see open slots at the venue.
- Never a name: it says how many games, never which group or who played. A price only shows with at least 5 bookings from at least 3 different people.
- Freshness rides on the "Checked" line: Fresh, Getting old or Stale. A recent check, "all still correct" from players, new facts and recent games keep a court fresh.
- A red pill like "Reported closed" means players flagged something and the admin agreed. It clears when the court is checked again.
- The card shows the short version under the price, like "Popular with DinkedIn players on weekday evenings · Paid by DinkedIn players: ₱450/hr".
Fill in what a court has
- Tap a court's name, then Suggest an edit under "Know this court?".
- Under Court facts and Getting there, pick what you saw yourself. Leave the rest on Not checked.
- Something wrong? Pick it under Something wrong?: Closed for good, Pin in the wrong place, Booking link doesn’t work or Same as another court (then pick which one).
- Tap Send changes. It shows once the admin approves it.
- "Not checked" is never shown as a fact. Only approved answers show, with the day they were checked, never your name.
- Each of these is a court edit, so it counts for Court Scout. Facts, full access reports and flags also count for the second batch of sidequests once you have unlocked it.
Drop-in games for newcomers
- Open Courts and tap Drop-in games under the results, or All drop-in games on a court. The list shows open play run by venues and groups outside DinkedIn, soonest first.
- Use Beginners or Free to narrow it. Each session shows its day and time, level, format and what a player pays.
- Tap the host's button (Open on Facebook, Message on Messenger, Open on Reclub) and check with them before you go.
- A court's details show the same sessions under "Open play here".
- These are not DinkedIn groups' games and they never mix with them. A listing says when a session runs, not that there is room: DinkedIn can't see that.
- "For first-timers" says whether drop-ins are welcome, whether there are paddles to borrow and what a session costs, once the host confirms it. Before that it says "Not confirmed".
- A listing never shows a phone number, only a link to the host, and never who added it.
Add a drop-in session
- Open the court and tap Add open play under "Open play here" (or on Drop-in games).
- Pick Every week and the day, or Once and the date. Set the start and end time, the level, the format and the cost a player (0 if it's free).
- Add a link to the host: a Facebook page or group, Messenger or Reclub. Never a phone number, and links that show one (like WhatsApp) are refused.
- Run it yourself? Tick I host this session. Then Send for review.
- Nothing shows until it is approved: by its host, by a host of another session at the same court, or by the admin when its host isn't on DinkedIn.
- You see what you added under Yours on Drop-in games, with Waiting for review, Listed or Not approved. While it waits you can withdraw it.
Host confirmation
- Run a session that is listed? Tap I host this on it. The admin checks it is you.
- Once you are its host, Yours on Drop-in games lists it: tap Still on to keep a weekly session listed, or No longer running to take it off.
- First-timer checks players send for it wait there for you: Confirm or Decline. Sessions other players add at your court wait there too.
- A weekly session nobody has confirmed for 6 weeks is hidden. A one-off is hidden after its date. Its host (or the admin) can bring a weekly one back with Still on.
- A session whose host isn't on DinkedIn says "Approved by DinkedIn" and is the admin's to confirm. One with a host says "Confirmed by its host on DinkedIn", never who.
- New sessions you add with I host this at a court where you already host one go live at once.
Book and log it
- Tap the main button on a court (Book on Onda, Chat on Messenger, Book online…). It opens the venue's own booking channel.
- Once it's booked, tap I booked this. Your booking log opens with the court, today's date and the channel filled in.
- Check the time and hours, then Save booking.
- DinkedIn never takes payment. You book and pay the venue directly.
Booking log
Me › Bookings is your private record of where you played and what it cost. Only you see it.
Log a booking
- Go to Me › Bookings.
- Pick the court (your recent ones are on top), the date and the start time.
- Set the hours. The cost fills in from the court's rates; change it if you paid something else.
- Choose a status (Played, Cancelled, No-show), add players, stars and notes if you like, then Save booking.
- Cancelled and No-show bookings don't count toward your spend.
- Switch to Calendar view to see the month. Edit or delete any row.
- Export JSON downloads everything.
- Offline? Bookings wait on the phone ("N not sent yet") and send when you're back.
Groups
A group is your regular crew. Games, leaderboards and photos all live inside one.
Start or join a group
- Start: tap + New group in your groups strip on Home (on a computer, in the Your groups list on the side). Or go to Me › Groups. Name the group and tap Create group. You become the Owner.
- Join: open the invite link an organizer sent you and tap Join group. Or go to Me › Groups, paste the link under "Paste an invite link" and tap Join.
- An invite link always makes you a Member. Owners can promote you later.
- You can be in up to 20 groups.
- On a phone, Home's Your groups strip shows each group with its status: Live now, the next game, or No game planned.
Who can do what
Owner: everything, including roles, the group's look, rename and delete. Organizer: plans games, runs check-in, Open Play and scoring, shares invite and board links. Member: RSVPs, plays, posts photos and reacts.
Invite peopleOrganizer
- Open the group and tap Invite in the header.
- Tap Copy link or Share… and send it to your group chat.
- Make a new link turns the old one off, if it ever ends up somewhere it shouldn't.
- The same invite sheet opens from ⚙ Settings › Invite people.
- When guests played with the group this week, the Corkboard tab reminds you to tap Invite up top. Once they join, their games count on the leaderboard.
Group settingsOrganizer
- Organizers and the Owner tap the ⚙ beside Invite in the group header.
- Settings has these sections, in order: Invite people, Send board to iPad, How we queue, Members & roles, Look (name, photo and colour, Owner only), Leave group and, for the Owner, Delete group.
- Under Members & roles, tap the ⋯ beside someone to change their role (Owner only) or remove them. It isn't on their profile.
- Members leave from the bottom of the Clubhouse. Organizers and the Owner leave from Settings.
- An Owner hands the group over before leaving.
Group pages
- Corkboard: live, check-in and upcoming games. A game nobody started drops off once its end time passes; one left live drops off at midnight. Organizers can cancel or finish either from "Past games, never closed".
- Clubhouse: a locker door for every member.
- Leaderboard: wins and win % for This season (the calendar quarter) or All time. This season ranks by win %, then more wins, rating gained this season and point difference. All time ranks by rating. You need 2 games to be ranked, and provisional players (under 8 games) are listed after everyone else. Level on everything means a shared rank (T4), never the name.
- History: every finished game and Open Play night.
- Insights (Organizers and the Owner only): how your nights are going. See Group Insights below.
- Tap anyone to see their profile: last 10 results, record, streak, best partner and top rival. Their DinkedIn profile link above it shows every group at once.
- Guests (players without an account) play normally but don't appear on leaderboards.
- The group header shows its tile, member count and your role. Organizers and the Owner also see Invite and ⚙ Settings there.
- Owners can change the colour, photo and name under ⚙ Settings › Look, and delete the group by typing its name.
Group InsightsOrganizer
- Open the group and tap Insights (Stats on a phone), the last tab. Members don't see it.
- The four tiles cover the last 8 weeks: players a night (against the 8 weeks before), how many who RSVP'd I'm in came, no-shows (said yes, didn't come, plus Not here taps on a called court) and newcomers (first night in the group).
- Attendance: check-ins a week for the last 12 weeks. This week is lime.
- Regulars at risk: members with 4 or more nights who haven't played for 3 weeks while the group kept playing. Tap one to open their profile, then message them.
- Best time slot: the planned day and time that brings the most players, over the last 6 months. A slot played twice beats one big night.
- Rating spread: the lowest, middle and highest rating of members who played in the last 8 weeks, in bands of 100.
- Latest nights: each of the last 6 sessions with players, newcomers, RSVPs that came and the average wait for a game.
- Volley reads the numbers for you at the top: players a night going up or down, the slot that fills, RSVPs who didn't come, newcomers. On Regulars at risk he names one regular to message, but only one who has Let the crew use my stats on, and never in your quiet hours or with the crew muted.
- Everything comes from your Open Play sessions and RSVPs. Quick matches and booking logs don't count.
- Guests count toward players and newcomers (a returning guest is not new twice) but never appear by name.
- The wait is time in the queue before each game, breaks not counted.
- Nights from before a group used check-in only show a head count.
Claim games you played as a guest
- Played before you had an account? Open the group's Corkboard. If games under your name are waiting, an Is this you? card shows them.
- Tap That’s me on the seat that was you. It shows as Sent until an organizer confirms.
- Got a claim link from an organizer instead? Open it, sign in, and tap These are my games.
- Once approved, those games, wins and rating are yours, and count on the leaderboard and your profile.
- A claim link from a group you are not in also adds you to the group once it is approved.
- If someone already has those games, the link says so. Ask the organizer.
Check claims and merge seatsOrganizer
- Claims waiting on you show on the Corkboard under Claims to check. Tap Approve or Decline.
- If one person ends up with two seats, Two seats, one person lists them. Merge adds the games, wins and points into one seat.
- To invite a guest to claim their games, open Guests from recent sessions and tap Claim link beside their name, then send it.
- Approving someone who isn't in the group yet adds them as a Member.
Games
Plan a game day, see who's coming, then check people in at the courts.
Plan a gameOrganizer
- Tap the + button (on a tablet or computer, New in the menu, then Game; or New game on the group's Corkboard tab).
- Pick the date, start time and court. It starts from your last game's details.
- Choose the format: Open Play (rotating session) or Quick match (one scored match, 2–4 players). Set how many courts.
- Add a Reclub link or a note if you like, then Create game.
- You can edit or cancel a game until it starts.
RSVP
- Tap I'm in on the game (on Home or the game page). It turns into Going.
- Can't come after all? Tap Can't make it.
Check in at the courtsOrganizer
- On the game, tap Start game day.
- Tap each name as people arrive, or Check in everyone going.
- Someone without an account? Type a Guest name and + Add guest.
- Have a list in the group chat or on Reclub? Paste a list, one name per line, Review players, then Check in N.
- Tap Start Open Play (or Continue to match setup for a Quick match).
- Pasted names that exactly match a member are checked in as that member; everyone else comes in as a guest.
Live notes
- While you're checked in to a live game that has a court, post one short note (up to 60 characters) from the Live card on Home, like "No ventilation" or "Need a 4th".
- Posting again replaces your note.
- The note shows on that venue on the Courts map while the game is live, and disappears when the game ends.
- See on map on the Live card opens Courts right at your venue. On the map, Live now goes to your crew first, and tapping a Live tag when zoomed out flies in to that venue.
- Your crew (people in your group) see each other as Dink Crew characters on the venue. You are the one with the "You" tag. Tap a character to see the name.
- Notes show on the map while your game is live, without your name. Only your crew sees who you are.
- Games have a length, from 30 minutes to 6 hours in 30-minute steps, set when you plan the game. Organizers can tap +30m on the Live card to extend.
Open Play
DinkedIn runs the paddle queue for you: who plays next, on which court, and who's winning the night.
Start a sessionOrganizer
- Plan an Open Play game, then check people in as they arrive.
- Games run the group's way. To change it for one game, tap Change for this game.
- Tap Start Open Play. Courts fill from the queue.
How games run
Each group picks one under ⚙ Settings › "How games run". Change it for one game at check-in, or mid-session with Change how games run.
- Paddle stack (default): first in line plays. New partners each game.
- Fair share: whoever has played least goes next. New partners each game.
- Close games: whoever has played least goes next, and teams are evened out by level.
- Winners & losers: winners play winners, losers play losers, and partners are split up.
Run the courtsOrganizer
- A called court turns dark and shows the four names and how long it has waited. When they're on court, tap Start game.
- Someone missing? Not here sends them on break and the next player steps in.
- When the game ends, tap Record result, then the winning team. Add the score with Add score if you want it.
- The court refills on its own from the queue.
- Tap any name for Swap with…, Take a break, Lock partner… or Leave for the day.
- Tap a court's name (Court 1, Court 2…) to rename it, like "Center court". The board, the live page and the announcer use the new name.
- Undo takes back the last action, as many times as you need. Fix an old game with Edit result.
- Sound on reads calls and results aloud. The speaker icons read a card on demand.
- Players see "You're up next" or "You're #3 in line" on their own phone.
Latecomers and breaks
Nobody has to tell the app someone arrived late: check them in whenever they get there.
- Fair share and Close games: a late arrival is counted level with whoever has played the fewest games, behind anyone who has waited longer. They don't jump the queue, and they don't wait behind everyone.
- Paddle stack and Winners & losers: a late arrival goes to the back of the line, like a paddle in a real rack.
- A break of up to 20 minutes keeps your place. A longer one, or a group set to "back of the line", sends you to the back, counted level with whoever has played the most. In a paddle stack, back from a break is always the back.
- On the leaderboard, a late arrival shows with a dash until they have played enough games to be ranked. See How rankings work.
How rankings work
One rule ranks a night everywhere it shows: the organizer's board, the live link, the TV board, the Session results card and its share image, and the Dink Crew.
- Win % decides the order.
- To be ranked you need at least 2 games and at least half as many as whoever has played the most, rounded up. If the busiest player has 7 games, you need 4. Below that you're listed after everyone ranked, with a dash. Arrive 30 minutes into a 3-hour night and you'll be ranked by the end; arrive with an hour left and you won't.
- Same win %? In order: head-to-head (two players only: their games against each other), more wins (the same % over more games), rating gained tonight (beating stronger teams earns more), point difference (when scores were added). Once one of these separates some of the tied players, the rest start again from the top.
- Still level on all of them: a shared rank, shown as T4. The name never decides a rank.
- Medals go to the top 3, if they have won a game.
- Organizers: tap a name on the leaderboard to see exactly why they're placed there, and every game they played tonight.
Finish the night
- Tap End session. Results are saved for everyone who played.
- The game page shows the Session results, ranked the same way as the live board (see How rankings work). Tap Share for a story-sized image.
- Discard throws the session away without saving.
Scoring
Keep the score on your phone, rally by rally. It calls the score and the server for you. How the scoring itself works: pickleball scoring rules.
Set up a matchOrganizer
- From a Quick match, tap Continue to match setup. In Open Play, tap Score live on a court.
- Choose Side-out or Rally scoring, game to 11, 15 or 21, Win by 2 or Hard stop, and one game or best of 3 or 5.
- Type the names on the court diagram (the right-hand box serves first), then Start match.
- Who serves first: leave it on Play for it to decide with a rally, or pick Side A serves or Side B serves if you already know.
- Score live from Open Play skips this screen: the names come from the court, and the match starts with play for serve.
Play for serve
- The match opens on a small court showing where everyone stands, with "Play for serve" where the score will be.
- Want different positions? Tap Swap Side A or Swap Side B to switch partners between the left and right boxes. Whoever is on the right serves first for their side.
- Play one rally, then tap the team that won it. That team serves first, and the game starts at 0-0-2.
- In a best of 3 or 5, the other team serves first in the next game, and so on.
- Partners can swap again before the first rally of each game, not during it.
- Tapped the wrong team? Undo takes it back, the same as a rally.
Score it
- After every rally, tap the team that won the rally, not who scored. The app works out points and service.
- Made a mistake? Undo last rally.
- When it's over, tap Save match.
- The big call-out reads the score the way you say it on court, like "4-2-1".
- The court under it shows where everyone stands: the server's box is filled in, and the receiver's box, diagonally across, is outlined.
- It tells you when to switch ends in a deciding game.
- No signal? Rallies are kept on the phone and sent when you're back.
Boards & live link
Put the score on an iPad by the net, or send a live link to anyone watching from home.
Put a board on an iPadOrganizer
- Tap Send board to iPad (in a game, or in the group's ⚙ Settings).
- Pick All courts for the overview, or one court number for that court's own board.
- Copy the link (or AirDrop it), open it on the iPad, then Share › Add to Home Screen.
- Open it from the home screen: it runs full screen and keeps the screen awake.
- One iPad per court works: each phone scores its own court and each board shows only that court.
- Tap the board to show Swap (flip sides to match where you stand), the theme (Auto, Light, Dark) and Announce.
- The board link doesn't expire, and making a new invite link doesn't change it.
Feed & photos
Home is where your groups' news lands: live games, results, milestones and photos.
What you see
- Live card at the top while a game is on, with the score or the courts. Tap it to follow along.
- Results: who led the day and how you did.
- Milestones: win streaks, a new #1 and leaderboard moves show as one line on that session's result card.
- Stories: photos from the last 24 hours, across the top.
- The feed shows 3 sessions at a time. Tap Load more for older ones.
- On a phone, a rank line such as "You're #2 in Tuesday Dinks" sits under the games and links to that leaderboard.
Post a photo
- Tap the camera button (on a tablet or computer, New in the menu, then Photo post; or Post photo on a result).
- Pick the group, add the photo and an optional caption.
- Tap Post. Only your group sees it.
- Location and camera details are removed from every photo.
- Tap 🔥 to react. Delete your own posts any time; organizers can delete any post.
Ratings & level
Every member has a rating in each group, worked out from Open Play results. Your DinkedIn level blends them into one number.
How your rating is worked out
Each group keeps its own rating for you. Everyone starts at 1000, and every Open Play game you finish moves it.
- Points go from the losing team to the winners. Beating a stronger team earns more than beating a weaker one, and losing to a weaker team costs more. Your team counts as the average of its two players.
- While you have played fewer than 20 games, each result moves your rating further (32 points of swing instead of 24), so a new player finds their level fast.
- If the score is added with Add score, a big win moves it up to one and a half times as much as a close one.
- Both partners on a team move the same way. Quick matches and Courtside games don't change ratings.
Provisional
You are provisional in a group until you have played 8 games there. Your rating is real, just still settling.
- On the group Leaderboard, provisional players are listed after established ones, on This season and All time.
- Your DinkedIn profile shows "provisional" next to any group where you are still under 8 games.
- Your DinkedIn level is provisional until you have 8 games across all your groups.
The DinkedIn level
One number across every group: your group ratings blended, with the groups you play most counting most.
- It is worked out from your games in each group, so a group where you played 40 games weighs more than one where you played 4.
- It shows on your DinkedIn profile after your first game. Until then it reads "After a first game".
- It is separate from the Level you pick in your profile. That one is what you say you are (2.5 to 5.0); this one comes from results.
Your DinkedIn profile
- Tap Your DinkedIn profile on Me, or DinkedIn profile on anyone's player page in a group.
- At the top: DinkedIn level, Record, Games and Streak with your last results, across every group.
- Below: Level by season, your Groups with each rating and rank, the Venues you play, and your Partners and Rivals.
- Only people who share a group with you can open it, unless you set Who can see it to Any signed-in player (Me › Settings › Profile).
- Someone else's partners and rivals only come from groups you both share. A group you aren't in shows as "Another group".
- On your own profile, Edit profile opens Me › Settings.
Rivalries
DinkedIn keeps the head-to-head record between members across every session.
- After a session, Smash names the biggest rivalry from that day on the results and on its feed card: who, and the record so far.
- A player profile shows their top rival, the person they have faced most, with the record and the last result.
- Only members count. Guests never show in a rivalry.
- It is just a line to tease the next game. Plan the next one the usual way.
Clubhouse & lockers
Every member has a locker. Play to fill it, dress up your character, and collect stickers on your door from the people you play with. Nothing is for sale.
The Clubhouse tab
- Open a group and tap Clubhouse. It replaces Members: every member has a locker door, with their character, name and the stickers on their door.
- Tap any door to open that person's locker on their profile.
- Members leave the group from the bottom of the Clubhouse.
- Guests have no locker, so they don't get a door. Organizers change roles or remove someone under ⚙ Settings › Members & roles.
- The organizer tools (invite, the board link and how the queue works) are in ⚙ Settings.
Your locker
- Open Me, or tap your own door. Your character stands on a stage, dressed in your gear, with your record, win rate, streak, games and form along the bottom.
- Around it are Gear, Next unlock (the item you are closest to, with a progress bar), your Locker door and Trophies. Your name line shows how much you have collected as "N of 53".
- A locked item shows as a silhouette with how to earn it. New items are marked until you have seen them.
- Gear and stickers come from playing: your first games and wins, 10, 50 and 100 games, win streaks, new venues, weeks in a row and winning with a new partner.
- Trophies are streak medals (3, 5 and 8 wins in a row), a pennant for each court you play at, and a rival trophy when you turn a losing record against someone into a winning one. Pennants and rival trophies are extra: they are not in the 47.
- Fourteen stickers come from Sidequests instead of games: four from Court Scout, ten more once you unlock the second batch. They show in your locker once you earn them.
- It counts every Open Play session you have played as a member, so your locker already holds what you earned before it existed.
- Nothing is for sale. Everything in your locker is earned by playing.
Dress up your character
- On Me, pick Head, Face or Hand: tap a round slot beside your character, or use the switch on the Gear card.
- Tap an item to wear it. Tap the one you are wearing to take it off.
- Pick a Kit colour to tint your head item and your paddle.
- Everyone starts with a headband, eye black and a paddle. Gear you haven't earned yet shows as a silhouette with how to earn it.
- On a phone, Gear, Locker and Trophies share one panel under the stage. Drag its handle, or tap it, to make the panel taller or shorter.
- Your look shows on your avatar everywhere: leaderboards, live games, the feed and the Clubhouse. Hand items only show on profiles, where the whole character fits.
- If you added a profile photo, the photo shows in small avatars and your dressed character shows on Me and your profile.
Moves
- Under your name, tap a move: Fired up, Hype, Win dance, Sulk or Bounce.
- Your character plays it in your gear.
- Moves are just for fun on this screen. They are not saved and nobody else sees them.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, your character stays still.
The weekly drop
Play any session in a week and you get one sticker from that week's drop.
- Weeks run Monday to Sunday, Manila time. The sticker arrives with the first session you play that week.
- The drop is always a sticker you don't have yet. Once you own all eight weekly stickers, a week gives nothing new.
Give a sticker
- Open a finished Open Play game and tap Give a sticker in the row under its results, next to Share. The result card on Home has one too.
- Pick someone you played with in that session.
- Pick one of six gift stickers: Good game, Clutch, Nice hands, Sweet drop, Brick wall or Run it back. It lands on their door with your name.
- You can give one sticker per session, within 7 days of the session, to a member who played in it. Guests can't get stickers.
- After you give one, the game page shows who you gave it to.
Your door
- Your door has 8 spots. Tap a spot to put one of your stickers there, swap it, or peel it off.
- You can place your earned stickers and weekly drop stickers. Gear and trophies stay in your locker.
- A gift shows "from" the person who gave it.
- When your door is full, a new gift waits under the door. Tap it and choose which spot it goes on. The sticker there comes off.
- Anyone who shares a group with you can see your door. Only you can change it.
- A gift you peel off or cover is gone for good. Your own stickers can always go back on.
New in your locker
When you open Home after earning something, or after someone gives you a sticker, a short "New in your locker" sheet shows what arrived.
- Tap See my locker to go straight there, or close the sheet. It shows at most once every 6 hours.
Sidequests
Side goals off the court. Each one earns stickers for your locker.
Court Scout
- Open a court that is missing something and tap Suggest an edit or Add a photo under "Know this court?".
- Every suggestion is reviewed. Only approved ones count: a new court, an edit, a photo, or "all still correct".
- Open Sidequests to see your progress, the stickers and three courts that still need help.
- Stickers: Scout at 1 approved, Trailblazer at 5, Mapmaker at 15, and First light for the first photo of a court that had none.
- Waiting ones show as "waiting for review". Rejected ones do not count.
- "All still correct" counts once per court every 30 days.
- Stickers arrive when your suggestion is approved and show in "New in your locker". You can put them on your locker door.
- Earn all three Court Scout tiers (Scout, Trailblazer and Mapmaker) to unlock the next three sidequests. First light is not needed.
Unlock more sidequests
- Fact Finder, Access Reporter and Link Patrol show on Sidequests as grey silhouettes marked Locked, with "Finish Court Scout to unlock" and your Court Scout progress.
- Get to Mapmaker (15 approved Court Scout edits). They unlock the moment Mapmaker is earned.
- From then on they count like Court Scout: approved only, in tiers.
- Only edits approved after you unlock them count, so their stickers mean new work.
- Earn every tier of Fact Finder, Access Reporter and Link Patrol to unlock the third batch: Open-play scout and First-timer check. They show as "Finish Fact Finder, Access Reporter and Link Patrol to unlock" until then, and only sessions and checks approved after that count.
- Signed out, you can see them, locked.
Fact Finder
- In Suggest an edit, answer the Court facts and Getting there questions you know.
- Each new fact on a court counts once it is approved: one court's surface, its lights and its parking are three.
- Stickers: Notebook at 3 approved facts, Clipboard at 12, Almanac at 30.
Access Reporter
- In Suggest an edit, answer all four Getting there questions: ramp or steps, parking, restrooms and shade. "Not checked" doesn't count.
- A full report counts once per court, once it is approved.
- Stickers: Ramp at 1 full report, Signpost at 3, Compass at 8, and First in for the first full access report of a court.
Open-play scout
- Open a court where a drop-in session runs and tap Add open play: the day and time, level, format, cost and a link to the host.
- It counts once its host or the admin approves it, for as long as it stays listed.
- Stickers: Flyer at 1 approved session, Megaphone at 3, Noticeboard at 6.
- A session that expires or is taken off stops counting. A sticker you already earned stays.
First-timer check
- On a listed session you have been to, tap First-timer check: drop-ins welcome, paddles to borrow, what a session costs. Answer only what you know.
- Each session counts once, when its host or the admin confirms your answers, while it stays listed.
- Stickers: Welcome mat at 1 confirmed check, Loaner paddle at 3, Open door at 6.
Link Patrol
- Spot a court that closed, a pin in the wrong place, a booking link that doesn't work or a court listed twice, and flag it under Something wrong?.
- Each kind of flag counts once per court, once it is approved.
- Stickers: Whistle at 1 approved flag, Flashlight at 3, Patrol badge at 8.
Courtside
The Dink Crew's home: seven small games for a break between points.
Play a game
- Open Courtside and tap a crew member.
- Tap Play. Tap, drag or swipe, depending on the game.
- When it ends, tap Go again to beat your best.
- One game per crew member: Dink Dash, Lob Float, Smash Wall, Erne Around, Volley Rally and Pop Trail.
- Crew AI's game is Orb Zuma, at the top: 12 tracks in 3 worlds. Tap to fire, line up 3 of a colour to pop them, and clear a level to open the next.
- Your best scores stay on this device. Nobody else sees them and there is no ranking.
- It works offline, with no connection needed.
Offline & install
Courts are often short on signal. DinkedIn keeps working.
Without a connection
- Courts load from the last copy on your phone.
- Open Play and match scoring keep going and sync when you're back.
- Bookings wait on the phone until they can send.
- The feed, photos, joining and group settings need a connection.
Add it to your home screen
- iPhone: open dinkedin.club in Safari › Share › Add to Home Screen.
- Android: Chrome menu › Add to Home screen.
- It then opens like an app, full screen.
Your data & account
What DinkedIn keeps about you, the settings that go with your account, and how to take it all with you or delete it.
Turn on notifications
- Go to Me › Settings › Notifications and switch on On this device. Allow notifications when your phone asks.
- iPhone and iPad: add DinkedIn to your Home Screen first (Safari › Share › Add to Home Screen), open it from there, then switch them on. Apple only allows notifications from the Home Screen app.
- Pick what you get: Games in my groups (a new game, check-in, game on, and 2 hours before a game you're going to), My bookings (2 hours before a court you logged) and Crew check-ins (the crew asks how it went, at most once a day).
- Send a test checks it works.
- Each phone or laptop is switched on by itself; the kinds you pick count for all of them.
- Nothing comes during your quiet hours. A reminder waits until they end if there is still time.
- Signing out stops notifications on that device. Sign out everywhere stops them on all of them.
- Blocked by mistake? Allow notifications for dinkedin.club in your phone's or browser's settings, then switch them on again.
Your data
- Go to Me › Settings › Your data.
- Let the crew use my stats: on by default. Off, the crew only knows what you set in your profile and your favourites: no games, wins, streaks, rivals or venues. Dink skips Your week, Smash skips your own news in a match report, the game-day whisper names nobody, nobody else's whisper shows your DinkedIn level, and Volley never names you to an organizer on Regulars at risk.
- Quiet hours: switch it on, pick From and Until (Manila time), then Save quiet hours. No tips or nudges between those times; everything else still shows.
- Export my data downloads everything DinkedIn stores about your account as one file.
- These settings are kept on your account and need a connection to change.
Delete my account
- Go to Me › Settings › Your data and tap Delete my account.
- Type your email to confirm, then Delete for good. Keep my account backs out.
- It removes your account, settings, booking log, locker, photo and stats, and signs out your other devices.
- In your groups, your past games stay as a guest seat under your name, so everyone else's history still adds up. Photos you posted stay with the group.
- If you are the only Owner of a group, make someone else an Owner (⚙ Settings › Members & roles) or delete the group first.
- It can't be undone.
Questions
Quick answers about playing pickleball in Cebu with DinkedIn.
What is DinkedIn?
DinkedIn (dinkedin.club) is a free pickleball app for Cebu, Philippines. It lists the pickleball courts in Metro Cebu (Cebu City, Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu, Talisay, Consolacion, Liloan, Cordova and Minglanilla) with their rates and booking links, and gives playing groups the tools for game day: RSVPs, check-in, an open play queue, rally-by-rally scoring and live scoreboards.
Where can I play pickleball in Cebu?
DinkedIn lists 214 pickleball venues with 540 courts across Cebu City (69), Mandaue City (42), Lapu-Lapu City (19), Talisay City (33), Consolacion (13), Liloan (12), Cordova (9) and Minglanilla (17): 48 indoor, 83 covered and 82 outdoor. Open Courts to search by name or barangay, filter by city and court type, or tap Near me to sort by distance.
How much does it cost to rent a pickleball court in Cebu?
Hourly court rates listed on DinkedIn run from ₱100 to ₱900 per court, with a typical rate around ₱400 an hour. 100 venues charge different rates at different times of day, so tap the time filter (it reads Any time) and pick an hour to see each court's rate when you want to play. Rates are as of 25 October 2026; confirm with the venue when you book.
How busy is a pickleball court on DinkedIn?
Tap a court's name on DinkedIn. "Popular with DinkedIn players" shows the day and time DinkedIn groups play there most, like weekday evenings. It counts games only, never names, and it doesn't say whether a court is free: DinkedIn can't see open slots at the venue.
What do players pay for a pickleball court in Cebu?
On DinkedIn, a court's details show "Paid by DinkedIn players": the middle price per court-hour from players' own booking logs for the latest month, once at least 5 bookings from at least 3 different people are logged there. Next to it are the venue's listed rates.
Where can I join a drop-in pickleball game in Cebu?
On DinkedIn, open Courts and tap Drop-in games. It lists open play run by venues and groups in Cebu outside DinkedIn, with the day and time, level, format and cost, and a link to message the host. "For first-timers" says whether drop-ins are welcome and whether there are paddles to borrow, once the host confirms it. Message the host before you go: a listing says when a session runs, not that there is room.
How do I list my open play session on DinkedIn?
Open your court on DinkedIn, tap Add open play under "Open play here", fill in the day and time, level, format, cost and a link to your Facebook page or group, Messenger or Reclub, and tick I host this session. The admin checks you host it, then it shows. Keep a weekly session listed by tapping Still on at least every 6 weeks.
How do I book a pickleball court in Cebu?
Find the court on DinkedIn and tap its main button (Book on Onda, Chat on Messenger, Book online and so on). It opens the venue's own booking channel, where you book and pay the venue directly. DinkedIn never takes payment. Afterwards, tap I booked this to keep the booking in your private log.
Is DinkedIn free?
Yes. Anyone can browse the Cebu court directory without an account. Groups, games, scoring and the booking log need a free account: sign in with your email and a 6-digit code, no password.
How does open play rotation work?
In a DinkedIn Open Play session, the app runs the paddle queue and calls the next four players to each free court. Groups choose a queue rule: Paddle stack (first in line plays, late arrivals join the back), Winners & losers (winners play winners, losers play losers, last game's partners split up) or Fewest games first (whoever has played least goes next, and nobody is skipped twice in a row; a late arrival is counted level with whoever has played the fewest games, so they neither jump the queue nor wait behind everyone).
How does the Open Play leaderboard rank players?
By win %. To be ranked you need at least 2 games and at least half as many as whoever has played the most that night, so someone who arrives late and wins their only 2 games is listed after the ranked players until they catch up. Players on the same win % are separated by head-to-head (two players only), then more wins, then rating gained that night, then point difference when scores were added. Still level means a shared rank, shown as T4. The live board, the TV board, the results card and the Dink Crew all use this same rule.
How do I keep score in pickleball doubles?
In traditional side-out doubles, only the serving team scores and the score is called as three numbers: serving team's score, receiving team's score, then server 1 or 2 (a game starts at 0-0-2). On DinkedIn, you tap the team that won each rally and the app works out the points, the server and the side, and calls the score. It also supports rally scoring and games to 11, 15 or 21.
How do you decide who serves first in pickleball?
The rulebook allows any fair method, such as a coin toss. Many groups play one rally for serve instead, and the winning team serves first. On DinkedIn a match starts with play for serve by default: it shows a court with every player in their box, you can swap partners between the left and right boxes, and you tap the team that won the rally. The player in that team's right-hand box serves first, from 0-0-2.
Can I show a live pickleball score on a TV or iPad?
Yes. A DinkedIn group can open its scoreboard link on an iPad or TV by the courts to show live scores and who is up next, and share a live link so friends can follow the games from anywhere.
What is the DinkedIn Clubhouse?
The Clubhouse is a tab in every DinkedIn group where each member has a locker. Players fill their locker by playing: gear for their character, stickers and trophies unlock from real games, and there is a new sticker every week they play. After a session, players can stick one sticker on the locker door of someone they played with. Nothing is for sale; everything is earned on court.
How do I earn stickers and gear on DinkedIn?
By playing Open Play sessions with your group. Your first game and first win, 10, 50 and 100 games, win streaks, playing at new venues, playing weeks in a row and winning with a new partner each unlock something. Playing any session in a week adds a weekly sticker, and turning a rivalry around earns a rival trophy.
How do I unlock more sidequests on DinkedIn?
Finish Court Scout: earn Scout, Trailblazer and Mapmaker with 15 approved court edits, photos or new courts. That unlocks Fact Finder, Access Reporter and Link Patrol, with ten new locker stickers. Only edits approved after the unlock count toward them.
How do I organize a regular pickleball group in Cebu?
Create a group on DinkedIn and share its invite link. Organizers plan game days with a date, time and court, members RSVP with I'm in, and on the day the organizer checks people in at the courts and starts Open Play. Results, leaderboards and photos stay in the group.
Can organizers see attendance and no-shows for their pickleball group?
Yes. On DinkedIn, a group's organizers and owner see an Insights tab: players a night, how many who RSVP'd came, no-shows, newcomers, attendance per week, regulars who have stopped coming, the best day and time to play, and the spread of ratings in the group. Members don't see it.
Does DinkedIn track head-to-head records between pickleball players?
Yes. DinkedIn keeps the record between group members across every session they play, wherever they play. After a session the results show the closest rivalry from that day, like "You and Ana vs Ben and Kai, 3–2 so far", and each player profile shows their top rival. Guests are not counted.
How are player ratings worked out on DinkedIn?
Each DinkedIn group keeps its own rating for every member, starting at 1000. Every Open Play game moves it: points go from the losing team to the winners, and beating a stronger team earns more than beating a weaker one. A team counts as the average of its two players. New players move faster (32 points of swing for the first 20 games, 24 after), and a known score lets a blowout count up to one and a half times as much. Quick matches don't change ratings.
What does provisional mean on DinkedIn?
Provisional means a rating that is still settling. On DinkedIn you are provisional in a group until you have played 8 games there, and provisional players are listed after established ones on the group leaderboard. Your DinkedIn level is provisional until you have 8 games across all your groups.
What is the DinkedIn level?
The DinkedIn level is one number for a player across every group: their group ratings blended, weighted by how many games they played in each. It shows on their DinkedIn profile after a first game, next to their record, games and streak. It is separate from the 2.5 to 5.0 Level a player picks for themselves in their profile.
I played as a guest. Can my old games move to my DinkedIn account?
Yes. Sign in and open the group's Corkboard: an Is this you? card lists games played under your name, and That's me sends a claim. Or open a claim link from the organizer and tap These are my games. Once an organizer approves, those games, wins and rating are yours.
Can I download or delete my DinkedIn data?
Yes. On DinkedIn, go to Me › Settings › Your data. Export my data downloads everything stored about your account. Delete my account removes your account, booking log, locker, photo and stats after you type your email; past games stay in your groups as a guest seat under your name.
What does the Dink Crew know about me?
Only what you allow. With Let the crew use my stats on (Me › Settings › Your data), Dink, Smash and Erne use your games, wins, streaks, season, venues and head-to-head records for their lines. Volley uses your favourites, home area and usual times. Other players are only ever P1, P2 to the crew. Turn the switch off and they keep to your profile and favourites; set quiet hours and they hold every tip and nudge until then.
Does DinkedIn work without signal at the courts?
Yes. Courts load from the last copy on your phone, and Open Play and match scoring keep running offline, then sync when you are back online. DinkedIn is a web app: add dinkedin.club to your home screen and it opens full screen like an app, with nothing to download from an app store.
